PCA Web Design reaches a milestone this month, celebrating 18 years in business. PCA has been providing outstanding web design and maintenance services for companies throughout the U.S. as well as several international companies. Christie Patterson, President, feels the success of her company has been based on building strong business relationships and staying true to their business model. “I believe we are doing something right. We still work with many of our first customers from the 1990s,” says Patterson.
The web design industry has definitely evolved over the past 18 years. Back in 1999, you were a step ahead of everyone if you had a website. Now, you are irrelevant if you don’t. Today, WordPress Responsive Platforms have replaced simplistic HTML sites, allowing for far more advanced functionality. “Web Design is now gravitating toward mobile design first and desktop design second. This will include simpler designs for easier loading and removal of any non-relevant graphics. People want information at their fingertips without having to search for it,” says Patterson.
PCA’s client list is long and varied, with clients in industries such as remodeling, fitness centers, associations, realtors, jewelers, radio personalities, race car drivers, corporate clients and much more. Some of PCA’s most interesting projects have included websites for a belly dancer, a horse masseuse, and a water product with Viagra-like effects. When asked who PCA’s favorite clients are, Patterson responded simply ”All of them!”
PCA plans to stay committed to its business model… to design and build websites that are easy to navigate. And, most importantly, to provide maintenance and support on sites it builds.
